20% Cash Rebates
Thailand is always open to any film, television, and all other video productions. Thailand has a primary rebate starting a 15%. You are also given multiple other opportunities to receive an extra 5% rebate as well.
All productions looking to spend a minimum of 50 million Thai Baht ($1.6M) locally in Thailand, will be eligible for a starting rebate rate of 15%. On top of that, if you shoot in tourism designated locations or hire key Thai personnels, you are eligible for an additional 3% rebate on top of that.
You are also eligible for an extra 2% rebate for your production if your film promotes Thailand tourism. If your Film production is shot before December 31st, 2023 with 100M Thai Baht ($3.2M) spent locally, then you could be eligible for a Cash Rebate opportunity of 20% in under 540 days, excluding your shooting days!
